Manu
Laude is the director, principle choreographer
and headline performer of Manu Laude Company
(MLC) which he created in 2007 and is
based in London, Britain.
With
a professional career spanning more than
a decade, Manu Laude has toured the world
- as a solo artist and company performer
- to bring audiences his unique multi-talented
style of entertainment which fuses modern,
contemporary, street and hip hop dance
with object manipulation and acrobatics.
In
recent years, Manu has been recognised
as a rising star in choreography and artistic
direction (Berlin's 2008 sell-out Orpheus
& Eurydike Opera) whilst continuing
to perform globally as a dancer, musician,
juggler and model for Variety and theatre
shows, operas, tennis tournaments, football
stadiums, live music concerts, commercials,
fashion shows and corporate events.
Born
in France, Manu has performed since he
was five years old after being introduced
to the arts by his mother, Danielle Laude,
a modern dance choreographer. As a teenager,
Manu mastered various dance styles and
circus skills with a specialisation in
juggling. In 1999, Manu moved his professional
career to London, and ever since his highlight performances include Wembley Stadium,
O2 Arena, Stade de France, The Royal Albert
Hall, Barbican Centre, Circus Space, English National
Ballet, Glastonbury Festival, E4 Udderbelly, Wintergarten, TOCC Berlin,
Dubai's Mall Of The Emirates, The Leicester Square Theatre,
Doha Tribeca Film Festival, BBC, Microsoft, Land Rover, Smirnoff Ice, Unilever, Sonique,
Prince Charles and The Queen of England
to name but a few.
